We love simplicity at Shay & Blue. Usually perfumes are made with 80+ ingredients - our fragrances are made with less than fifteen. We take care over every ingredient, making sure it is the best quality and made sustainably.

We use naturals and synthetics. Each of our fragrances contains naturals, but using botanicals exclusively is not always possible when making sure our products are free from the bad stuff and kind to the planet. In some instances, such as sandalwood - using botanicals would mean harming the environment (natural sandalwood is vulnerable). In those instances, we use lab-created synthetics that are safe for skin, many of which are considered natural identicals, because they're the same as what's found in nature. It's the responsible thing to do.

No idea the smell bought on recommendation

No idea how it smelt as was for a gift purchased on line. Not as much as a 2ml!!! free sample of this fragrance or any other on delivery to entice another purchase. Liz Earl I will continue to buy.

Mesmorising and exquisite

I have nearly all the mesmerising perfumes by Shay and Blue .However as I adore Amber I think that the Oud is like no other perfume I have bought.its long lasting and not too overpowering.This is definitely an evening perfume .and will purchase another one.Along with the Amber Rose this is my favorite.Well done Shay Blue you outshine any other perfumer

Dripping with Richness.

This was an impulse buy after ordering a sample. After the first spray, It hits you with a wave of WARMTH; very rich like a fruit cake dusted with brandy. 15 minutes on, it changes to the most bewitching blend of iris and rose. A powdery gorgeousness is all I can sum up. .SO blissful, that I can't do it justice, I'd be happy if these notes went on for hours. Neroli less so, on me .

After 3hours or so it dries down vibrating with oud and amber, with a ghost whisper of rose.

If you're not keen on amber then this one is not for you. This is my choice for going out somewhere special . Its very sexy and sensual, and intensely luxurious and oriental, but not so heavy to give you a headache. I have had compliments while wearing it. And, just when I think I can't detect it any more; the rich warm fuzziness wafts up my nose .

I'm surprised there aren't many comments about it. Excellent staying power; lasts 24 hours on my skin. Between the 2 Ouds; I plunge for Amber Oud Ahad every time. oh by the way Dom , your scents are so packed with naturals that my cat even wants to lick where I'd sprayed my hands and wrist. So he approves too.
